The Derby County first team player got stuck into a range of activities that the youngsters were taking part in, including a crossbar challenge and mini matches. He also signed momento postcards for the excited participants to take away.
Midfielder, Liam Thompson said:
“It’s always nice to see the young ones enjoying their time off school and it’s nice to be a part of it. It’s been really enjoyable”
Sam Howard, Community Coaching Lead at the Trust, said:
“It was a pleasure to welcome Liam to our holiday camp today. The players are an inspiration to our participants, and it’s been great to see him here, joining in with the activities.”
After taking part in the challenges and games, Liam presented today’s tournament winners with their trophy and certificates before posing for some photos.
