Talent Identification Programme (TIPs)
About
Our Talent Identification Programme (TIPs) is an invite-only football programme which provides the opportunity for 5-12 year old boys to benefit from advanced coaching and to develop within the Derby County player pathway where applicable.
All sessions are designed to develop the skills relevant for the modern game and are delivered at high tempo in weekly sessions at venues across Derbyshire.
Within the programme players may be selected to compete in an Elite Game Programme where they will play counterpart teams from other clubs, such as Stoke City, West Brom, Leicester City, Shrewsbury Town and Cardiff City. This allows players to experience playing within a competitive environment.
Children must come equipped with a water bottle, suitable footwear, shinpads and suitable clothing for the weather (warm clothes, waterproofs, sunhat etc.). We advise against bringing any valuabes to the session.
Parents/carers must book their child in advance and ensure that they register their child with coaches upon arrival.
