Get to know the teams

The pathway aims to develop local talent from U9 to U16 level, with the ultimate aim of providing players for the Derby County Women's First Team.

It will deliver enhanced coaching and support designed to improve the development of elite female players.

Throughout June, Derby County will be holding trials for our Female Talent Pathway squads at ages Under 9s - Under 16s.

Trials for our Under 18s and Under 21s squads will now take place through our Elite 16-21 Programme.

The format for the trials will be as follows:

Under 9s - Under 12s - Open trials, register your details below and you will be invited to an open trial

Under 13s - Under 16s - Register your interest, we will assess your application and will invite successful applicants to trial

The trials will be a two-stage process. Players will be informed whether or not they will be invited back to the second session.

Reigstrations to trial are open until Wednesday 22nd May at 5pm.

Please note, you will be contacted following the first trial to notify you of the next stages. Successful trialists will be invited back to take part in a second trial before final decisions are made.

Trial Outcome

If successful following the two trials, you will be expected to attend training at least twice per week throughout the 24/25 season. This will start from 5.30pm, so by registering to trial you are confirming that you can attend training from this time within Derby.
