Derby County Community Trust’s popular Weekend Club takes place every Saturday providing fun, football skills-based activity for children from Pre-Reception up to Year 6.

We provide a weekly session working on a range of football skills and drills, including dribbling, passing, receiving, control, running with the ball and much more. Each session will have a dedicated topic area that is differentiated to each age group.

The sessions are interactive and work on skills and drills for all abilities in a safe and enjoyable environment. There are chances to play games, make new friends and have fun, all led by our qualified coaching team.

The first session your child attends will be a free trial - this is so you can get a taste for the sessions before signing up to attend on a weekly basis. The monthly price of the sessions after this is £16 paid via direct debit on the 1st of every month.

Sessions take place at Rykneld Sports Centre, Richmond Park Road, Mackworth DE22 4LP. Please join our waiting list using the form at the bottom of this page if you would like your child to attend, and one of our team will get back to you.

Sessions run each week at the following times:

• Saturday, 9.00-9.50am
• Saturday, 10.00-10.50am 
• Saturday, 11.00-11.50am

Pre-Reception sessions currently run at the 10.00am time slot only.

All participants should bring their own labelled water bottle and we advise against bringing any valuables to the session.

All children can be left unattended for the full duration of the session as all our coaching staff hold relevant qualifications and Enhanced DBS certificates.
