Building Community Pride

Our primary goal is to build communities that people are proud of and actively engaged in. We identify areas of need and develop provisions that fill the gaps in these communities.

Through our work across Derby and Derbyshire, we’re building community pride by creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. Whether it’s on the pitch, in the classroom, or out in the community, we support people to be proud of where they live and who they are.

We know that pride grows when people feel safe, supported, and celebrated. That’s why our programmes are designed to bring people together across generations, backgrounds, and identities.

Our reach goes beyond Derbyshire. We’re proud to support communities overseas, in the slums of Nakaru, Kenya. In 2024, we completed our 11th annual humanitarian trip.

Closer to home, Harrison’s Hub at Pride Park Stadium enables us to deliver regular activities in a central, well-known location. It is home to Team Talk, Women’s Health programmes, Extra Time Hub, Knit and Natter, Community Meals and more.

We also maintain a strong presence on Derby County matchdays at Pride Park, helping to create lasting memories and strengthen the connection between Trust and Club. Initiatives like Rammie’s Special Guest, our Sensory Room and Matchday Draw make matchdays memorable and welcoming.

Together, we’re working towards a community that’s proud, connected and full of potential.

Without fundraising, our work would not be possible. There are many ways that you, or your business can help us to sustain our important work.
