Our Sensory Rooms ensure every supporter, regardless of ability, can enjoy watching the mighty Rams.

Giving everyone the chance to enjoy watching The Rams.

Tailored for children and young adults with additional needs, they offer a calm and secure space in a hospitality box, with the option to watch the match from inside or outside. Supported by Derby County Community Trust staff, families can relax whilst children engage with sensory-friendly music and interactive objects. Whether staying inside or joining the crowd, the experience is accessible, inclusive, and designed to bring families together at the football.

Our Sensory Rooms are booked via completion of the expression of interest form below.

You will be contacted by a member of our team to arrange an appropriate and available matchday. Please note: priority will be given to those who have not used the facility before.

For me as a father, to be able to experience seeing my child standing in the stadium waving a Derby County flag above his head, cheering the team on… I have no words other than thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made a family moment for us that was perfect, and you gave me and my son a bonding rite of passage I never thought we would be able to have. The entire night was one of kindness and joy and we thank everyone at the Trust who made it possible.

His enthusiasm to watch a Derby game has been mounting for a few months but we had no idea how he'd manage with a game or even if he'd make half time. He surpassed all our expectations and sat through the whole match. He loved relaxing in the sensory room before and during half time and he happily went back out to watch the second half afterwards.
