The Inclusion Partnership is a city-wide collaboration bringing together schools, Derby County Community Trust, Derby City Council and a wide range of partners, working together to create a more inclusive education system for children and young people across Derby.
To ensure every child belongs, feels safe, welcomed and valued so they can thrive during their time at school.
We believe that inclusion is everyone’s responsibility. Strong relationships and inclusive provision are the foundations of successful schools, and by working together we can achieve better outcomes for children and young people.
Our work is built around three core values:
Through the Inclusion Charter, high-quality professional development, conferences, network meetings, practical resources and bespoke support, we help schools develop inclusive cultures where every child has a genuine sense of belonging. Since launching in 2022, 100% of Derby schools have signed the Inclusion Charter, demonstrating the city’s collective commitment to inclusion.
As one of the Partnership’s key funding and delivery partners, Derby County Community Trust plays a central role in supporting schools and strengthening inclusive practice across the city.
