Changemakers is an open access volunteering programme for 15-17 year olds who want to make a difference in their community.
About
NCS Changemakers is a volunteer programme for young people aged 15-17 years old.
Participants on the programme come together throughout the year to support good causes in the local community.
Our Changemakers have supported a local care home by restoring its outdoor area, making it safe for the residents to use all year round and collected supplies to form welcome boxes for refugees in Derby amongst a number of other activities that have benefited the local community.
They even created their own podcast 'Change Z' which discusses issues impacting the world from the perspective of young people.
