In partnership with DF4TA, the Reverse Advent Calendar is back!

Published on 5 November 2025 in News.

Derby County Community Trust is delighted to partner with the Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance in the run up to Christmas by collecting Reverse Advent Calendar donations.

A partnership was formed between the two during the Covid pandemic, making Pride Park Stadium a main drop off point for donations within the city.

For the fourth-year running, the Trust is proud to support the residents of Derby during the festive period and encourage those who are able, to take part in the Reverse Advent Calendar campaign.

To join the festivities, the public are asked to collect an item of tinned or dried goods, each day, for 25 days. The result is a full food parcel, which will be distributed across local communities in the run up to Christmas.

Collections will take place at Pride Park Stadium on Wednesday 3rd December (12pm – 3pm) and Thursday 4th December (4pm – 6pm). The donation hub will be situated in Harrison’s Hub at Pride Park Stadium, located in the stadium’s North-West Corner.

Supporters are encouraged to begin the ‘advent calendar’ on Friday 7th November, to collect 25 items by Monday 1st December. A full list of items to collect can be found below.

Full food parcels that are brought to the donation points at Pride Park Stadium will qualify for two complimentary ticket vouchers to the Millwall fixture on 10th December, gifted by Derby County Football Club. Please note, these are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and up to a maximum of 10 tickets per organisation/drop off to ensure fair distribution.

Last Christmas, due to the kindness of local people and businesses, Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance was able to distribute over 2,500 food parcels to households across Derby, making an unbelievable difference to those who face food insecurity.

Paul Newman, CEO of Derby County Community Trust said:

“We are delighted to be supporting Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance and the Reverse Advent Calendar again this year after the resounding success of the last four years. The food that we collect makes such a difference to families and this year we are aiming to collect more donations than ever before!”
