Derby County Community Trust is calling on residents of Derby and Derbyshire to be part of the development of their new strategy

Published on 11 February 2026 in News.

Derby County Community Trust is looking to consult with service users to help shape its future direction as it begins work on a new organisational strategy. The consultation, which is now open will give residents the chance to share their views on the Trust’s current operations and the direction they should be heading.

The feedback, gathered through a short set of questions, will play a crucial role in ensuring the strategy reflects the priorities and aspirations of the communities it serves. The consultation will ask participants about what they think DCCT currently does well and where they think there is room for improvement.

Paul Newman, CEO at Derby County Community Trust said “We want this strategy to be built with the communities we serve at the heart of it. A couple of minutes of your time will make a meaningful difference to the direction we take.”

The consultation is available to complete online until 28th February 2026. Once the feedback has been gathered, it will be analysed and used to inform the development of the new Derby County Community Trust strategy, which is due to be published later on in the year.
