Derby County Community Trust has published its 2025/26 Annual Report, celebrating another year of positive impact across Derby and Derbyshire.

Throughout the past year, the Trust has continued to make a positive difference through its work across sport, physical activity, health and education, supporting 38,000 participants and investing £3.8 million into community programmes. 

From health and wellbeing to education, inclusion, football development and employment support, the report highlights the breadth of the Trust’s work and the difference it has made to people of all ages.

The Trust’s work is built around four key priorities: building community pride, supporting good health and wellbeing, optimising life chances and developing more active communities.

Key figures from 2025/26 include more than 6,000 participants taking part in Health & Wellbeing programmes, while 100% of students on the Football & Education programme completed their course, with 94% exceeding their target grade.

The Trust also supported its first King’s Trust Team Programme cohort, with 100% of participants progressing to positive destinations, while more than 3,000 participants took part in Holiday Coaching and 562 players accessed Female Football Pathways.

Across its community work, £110,000 was raised through fundraising events and reinvested into programmes, while 1,072 meals were served through community meals.

Alongside these figures, the Annual Report shares stories from participants who have experienced the impact of the Trust’s programmes, highlighting the people behind the statistics and the difference the Trust has made over the last 12 months. 

The report also reflects on a year that saw the Trust launch its Not Just Football campaign, reinforcing the role of the Trust in using the appeal of football to create opportunities and improve lives far beyond the pitch. 

As the Trust looks ahead to 2026/27, it will continue working with communities and partners to deliver its Not Just Football Strategy 2026–31, with the ambition of creating a thriving, healthy and connected community.
