Derby County Community Trust are pleased to announce that entries to their biggest fundraiser – The Derby 10k – are now open. Next years race will take place on Sunday 28th February 2027.

Starting and finishing outside the home of the Rams, Pride Park Stadium, the event has taken place since 2002, raising thousands of pounds for the Community Trust’s vital programmes that support communities across the county.

Proudly sponsored by HUUB Design, Derby’s own elite sportswear brand and supported by DNS Limited, the event features a fast, flat route perfect for seasoned runners and first-time racers alike. All entries come with an exclusive technical t-shirt, along with a finishers medal and access to discounts at local businesses.

Plus, there’s the opportunity for families and future 10k runners to join in the Family Fun Run sponsored by L.E.A.D. IT Services for their own medals.

Entries go on sale this morning (Monday 15^th September) from 10am, starting at £25.50 for UKA registered runners. For those looking to elevate their race day experience, our VIP package includes access to a private hospitality suite before and after the run, complete with hot drinks, dedicated baggage storage, private toilets, and even a pre- and post-race massage. 

This year, race organisers are pleased to introduce the ‘Corporate Challenge’ for colleagues to work collectively as a team of 5 to cross the line in the quickest combined time and battle it out to become the Derby 10k Corporate Challenge Champion! As part of entry, Corporate Challenge teams will get indoor access, pre/post race refreshments, digital team photo and private toilets. 

All proceeds raised by the event are directly invested into the Community Trust’s many projects, particularly those operating from Harrison’s Hub.
