It’s special out there. I was given the opportunity for a funded placement for the Kenya trip and now I’ve been for the past six years. It’s been life-changing, it’s opened my eyes. The people out there haven’t got much but they’re still happy and they’re proud. I came back a totally different person.

The children and teachers are so appreciative. They want help to be better and to provide better lives for their students.

Each volunteer commits to fundraising for trip costs (flights, accommodation, meals, and vaccinations) which contributes to projects both in Kenya and back in Derby
