Kellogg’s Football Camps delivered by Derby County are running at various venues across Derbyshire this summer holidays. Hundreds of young people have been taking part over the past 4 weeks, with 2 weeks of fun still to go.
This week participants at Derby Racecourse Hub got a special surprise when Derby County First Team duo Sondre Langås and Oscar Fraulo paid a visit.
Both got straight into supporting a range of activities such as the crossbar challenge and a EUROs themed tournament. Fraulo showed the teams how it was done in the crossbar challenge and Langås provided vital defensive support to the squads in the mini matches.
Attendees were also very keen to hear about Langås’ recent World Cup experience, the famous Norwegian row and what it’s like to play football with Erling Haaland.
The pair also chose the winners of the ‘spin the wheel’ competition with two lucky winners taking home a full Derby County squad signed Kellogg’s Football.
Derby County Community Trust, Community Coaching Lead, Sam Howard said: “We really appreciate both Sondre and Oscar taking the time to visit our camp today. For the participants, it’s great for them to see their role models joining in with the activities.”
There is still time to book onto Kellogg’s Football Camps delivered by Derby County, with places available throughout the remainder of the six-week summer holidays at Derby Racecourse Hub, Belper Leisure Centre, Rykneld Sports Centre and Heanor Town FC.
