Today, Derby County Community Trust, hosted the Utilita EFL U11’s Kids Cup at Moor Farm.

The last day of the local round, where 6 teams played against each other, to win the opportunity to represent Derby County in the regional finals.

Overall, the competition has seen a total of 37 schools taking part, with 333 participants lacing up their boots.

DCCT hosted the qualifying round over 3 days, with the top 2 from each tournament securing their space in today’s event.

“It’s important to run events like this because it gives the children the chance to challenge themselves on and off the pitch, whilst showcasing their school values”.
