Derby County Community Trust is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Activity & Health Officer to join our Health team, supporting individuals engaged in substance misuse recovery programmes across Derbyshire.

This exciting role will use sport, physical activity and wellbeing interventions to help individuals improve their physical and mental health, build confidence, reduce isolation, and support long-term recovery.

You will work alongside specialist treatment services to deliver person-centred support through 1:1 sessions, group activities, and tailored physical activity programmes in community settings.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about helping people improve their wellbeing
• Can motivate and engage individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understands the positive impact of sport and physical activity
• Can work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
