Girls’ Football

The Premier League Girls’ Football (PLG) programme is aimed at girls aged between 14 and 24 years, giving them the opportunity to attend free coaching sessions delivered by Derby County Community Trust staff.

The weekly sessions are open to all levels of participant within the age range and are delivered by coaches qualified to a minimum of FA Level 2 across all our hub sites.

Alongside the delivery of football sessions at school satellite clubs, we also offer regular opportunities for participants to represent their hubs in fixtures against other PLG hubs, as well as external fixtures against other PLG Premier League clubs. The level of competition is tiered at local, regional and national levels.
