The Derby County Girls’ Regional Talent Club (RTC) aims to deliver enhanced coaching and support designed to improve the development of elite female players, through the FA Girls’ England talent pathway.

There are 34 national RTC-approved FA elite development centres which hold a licence.

We train players across four age groups – Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s, with weekly training taking place along with fixtures against other RTCs, and local teams.

This year, due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, we have made the decision to offer all 2019/20 players a contract for the 2020/21 season. This decision has been made to support individual player development.

We are currently taking expression of interest applications for open sessions for when it is safe to participate in football training and fixtures. Please see the below for information on your child’s age group and complete the Expression of Interest form if relevant.

We are looking for limited player numbers and positions for the 2020/21 season:

Under 10: Nine players – all positions and GK  (DOB: 1st September 2010 – 31st August 2012)

Under 12: Three players – defenders and GK (DOB: 1st September 2008 – 31st August 2010)

Under 14: Five players – all positions and GK (DOB: 1st September 2006 – 31st August 2008)

Under 16: Three players – defenders or attackers (DOB: 1st September 2004 – 31st August 2006)
