Derby County Community Trust have partnered with the EFL Trust to offer a unique traineeship programme. It offers work experience and training to young people who are looking to enhance their career prospects.

The Traineeship is a ten-week programme, where trainees will spend two days a week in the classroom at the Community Trust offices, then take up work experience with various employers and departments around the Trust.

There will also be an ‘Employability’ element of the course which involves CV writing, mock interviews, applying for jobs, 70 hours' work experience and an accredited qualification in Customer Service (L1) – all vital skills needed to secure future employment.

The course presents a brilliant opportunity for young people to gain valuable work experience, skills, and qualifications to help stand out from the crowd. The L1 Customer Service and Employability qualifications are relevant, and industry recognised, which means they are very attractive to employers.

The next DCCT Traineeship programme starts on 6th September. Please register your interest using the form below.

Candidates must be:

• Aged 16 – 24 years old

• Currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week

• Not be educated to Level 4 or above

• Show enthusiasm and ambition to work

For more information please fill in the form below or contact Bev Crighton, Employability Lead, on 07889591926 or [email protected]

“You join the traineeship because of the amount of opportunities that are handed to you on a daily basis, you can get stuck in to so many different options. You’ll come out of the end of it and you’ll be a different person, like I am”
