From September 2023, Derby County Community Trust will be running a brand new Female Talent Pathway in partnership with the current Derby County Women's Academy. The pathway will aim to develop local talent from U10 to U20 level, with the ultimate aim of providing players for the Derby County Women's First Team.

Previously, Derby County Community Trust ran one of 30 FA Regional Talent Centres for talented, female footballers from Under 11 to Under 16 level.

The new pathway aims to deliver enhanced coaching and support designed to improve the development of elite female players.

The age groups (Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 16s, Under 18s and Under 20s) take part in weekly training and regular competitive fixtures.

We have seen many regional and national call-ups and all players are expected to commit to their squads, regularly attend training and take part in strength and conditioning sessions.

Our Football and Education programme also provides sustainable exit routes designed to provide opportunities for talented players.

Trials for the new talent pathway are now open. Please complete the form below by may 19th to register your interest. you will then be contacted to confirm your place.

Please note, first trials will be held at the following times for each age group. All trials will take place at Moor Farm Training Centre:

U10s: Tuesday 6th June, 5.30-7.00pm
U11s: Wednesday 7th June, 5.30-7.00pm
U12s: Thursday 8th June, 5.30-7.00pm
U13s: Tuesday 6th June, 7.30-9.00pm
U14s: Wednesday 7th June, 7.30-9.00pm
U15s: Thursday 8th June, 7.30-9.00pm
U16s: Tuesday 13th June, 7.30-9.00pm
U18s: Wednesday 14th June, 7.30-9.00pm
U20s: Thursday 15th June, 7.30-9.00pm

All new triallists will be contacted following the first trial to notify them if they are going to progress to the second trial date.
