Pennine Healthcare Become Trust Partner

Pennine Healthcare have become the latest business to become a Trust Partner and support Derby County Community Trust. The Derby based organisation have signed up alongside other members of the business community in the city to commit to supporting the invaluable work delivered by the community arm of the football club.

Pennine Healthcare’s first involvement with the Trust came through their support for our SCORE project, an employability programme to support young people into gaining employment in the Health and Social Care sector.

Graeme Cameron, CEO of Pennine Healthcare, has been instrumental in this programme by chairing the advisory board for SCORE. He spoke of the partnership we have created since:

“We are delighted to sign a contract to become a Derby County Community Trust Partner. At Pennine Healthcare our driving Purpose is to Protect Life and Enrich the Communities that we work in.  Derby County Community Trust exist to improve lives and communities through sport, physical activity, health and education which perfectly mirrors our own aspirations to make the world a better place through medical technology, sustainability, exceptional care and wellbeing.

“We cannot wait to kick off our collaborative programmes which involve sustainability and expanding career opportunities within the Health and Social Care sector.”

In addition to the support offered through the SCORE project, the healthcare company are also committing to sponsorship opportunities.

Pete Collins, Business Development Manager for DCCT spoke of the partnership, “We are really pleased to be working with Pennine Healthcare on a Trust Partner partnership. They have shown a commitment to support our local communities and our values as organisations align perfectly. We are excited to develop the partnership further”.

The work of the Trust has been boosted by the launch of Trust Partners in January, with a range of businesses committing to supporting our work through both financial and in kind donations. All investment will directly help local communities.

The nature of Pennine’s involvement showcases the bespoke nature of Trust Partners and we are keen to speak with any local business who would like to support our work.

Businesses can contact Pete Collins, Business Development Manager on 01332 416140 or email [email protected] to discuss the opportunity further.
