As we approach a second national lockdown on 5th November, Derby County Community Trust is ceasing delivery of all sessions outside of school and education delivery until 2nd December.

We continue to work with our education partners to ensure the highest standard of teaching is maintained throughout this time and continue to support our schools’ network with our range of ongoing projects.

Please note, even if you/your child are of school age, if sessions take place outside of school they will not be running until 2nd December at the earliest.

Similar to the initial lockdown, we will look to launch a fully digital timetable to keep all our participants entertained and information will be shared as soon as possible regarding this timetable. We will aim to get this running as soon as possible.

The ‘Stay Safe. Stay Fit. Stay Connected.’ campaign will continue to support families and individuals in need across the city. Weekly food drops will be reinstated at Pride Park Stadium as the current donation point within DCFCMegastore will also be closed. More details will be circulated in the coming days.

There will be a wealth of opportunities for participants old and new to engage and while we will miss physical delivery we have no doubt we will continue to keep each in good spirits throughout this period of uncertainty.

If you have an existing booking made between 5th November-2nd December you may request a refund by contacting us on community@dcct.co.uk. If you are happy to donate this fee, it will be used to support the ‘Stay Safe. Stay Fit. Stay Connected.’ campaign and those in need through our partnership with the city’s food banks.

Please note this won’t apply to after school club bookings which are still valid. TIPs bookings which are paid in advance will be transferred to new dates when sessions resume.

More information on all aspects of our new virtual timetable and food donations will be released by next week. As ever, if you need any support our staff members are a phone call away and will aim to help however they can.
