Derby County Community Trust are looking for two outgoing, confident and skilled young leaders and coaches to join our existing coaching team as apprentice coaches.

These apprentices will work for two years alongside qualified and experienced coaches for 30 hours per week (including one day of classroom based learning), delivering a wide variety of activities and sessions within the local community. Much of this work will revolve around our Schools’ Programme, mainly coaching children between the ages of 5-11 years old, however there are opportunities to gain experience of working with a variety of participant in a range of programmes.

Requirements for casual coach applicants

  • Minimum FA Level 1 coaching certificate
  • Up to date First Aid training
  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate
  • DBS
  • Previous experience coaching football

Requirements for full time positions include:

  • Minimum FA Level 2
  • Full driving license
  • all of the above
