On Thursday 14th December we hosted our first ever tea dance in the Dave Mackay Suite at Pride Park Stadium.

Residents from Derby Heights, participants from Forever Active and Chaddesden Jubilee Tea Dancers joined us for the occasion, where attendees waltzed away to classic tea dances.

The afternoon was enjoyed by all, with those who came on the day commenting that the dances reminded them of their younger days.

The day provided the chance for all attendees to get their dancing shoes on and enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake too.

We will continue to deliver tea dances in the new year across the various care homes we visit and open up opportunities for our existing Forever Active participants.
